The website, the online application, accounts, the parts library and uploaded files are hosted on OVHcloud servers and storage located in France. Encrypted backups are kept at OVHcloud in Canada (see the privacy policy).
Intellectual property
The core of the Solidus application (kernel, Part, Sheet metal and Assembly workbenches) is licensed under the open source GNU Affero General Public License version 3 (AGPL-3.0), with an exception for plugins; its source code will be published as soon as the Kickstarter campaign reaches its milestone. You will then be able to use, modify and redistribute it under its terms. The modules reserved for the Pro and Team plans (drawing, CAM, quoting, Motion, etc.), the library server and the content of the official library are not covered by this license.
The AGPL-3.0 grants no trademark rights. The name "Solidus", the logos and the visual identity belong to the publisher; their use is governed by the project's trademark policy. Any reproduction of the texts, images and videos of this website without permission is prohibited, except for short quotations citing the source.
The documents you create with Solidus belong to you. Content published by users in the community library remains the property of its authors and is distributed under the license they have chosen (see the Terms of Use).
Third-party trademarks: "Open CASCADE" belongs to Open Cascade SAS; other names mentioned belong to their respective owners.
Personal data and cookies
The processing of your data is described in the privacy policy. The website sets no audience measurement cookie.
Reporting content
To report illegal content published in the community library, use the "Report" function of the application or write to [email protected], specifying the address of the content and the reason. Reports are handled as quickly as possible.
